 A patient examination glove is a disposable device intended for medical purposes that is worn on the examiner’s hand to prevent contamination between patient and examiner. The BIOCORE Premium glove has been tested for permeation and breakthrough resistance against various concentrations and types of chemotherapy drugs, to ASTM D6978-5 “Standard Practice for Assessment of Resistance of Medical Gloves to Permeation by Chemotherapy Drugs”. To determine the most appropriate level of protection, users should review drug labeling. Glove selection should be based on the specific type(s) of chemotherapy drugs in use.
